Word travels

Taken from a note I wrote on Facebook June 17, 2008. http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/note.php?note_id=62825990576
A day after school ends I have spent my first hours writing a six page English essay with high hopes. The results on the other hand may be somewhat mediocre.

--___--

I am actually somewhat in a self-content mood as of right now. Perhaps its the underlying fact that I no longer have to write another essay on the wonders of William Shakespeare or it could be the simplicity of the end of this school year.

William Shakes is an English-Greek hero

Despite two more exams I am delighted that only a handful of hours are left before my school year officially ends. This is a memorable day, today marks another day closer to the trip I have been planning since my elementary days. Inspite of a looming exam, here I am reading over material on the trusty internet and antisipating what isnt going to happen a year from now. Photos, itineraries and even the cost of a hostle is going to keep me up all night. I'm super glad that I handed in a couple of resumes today, because my trip will inevitably cost me my entire life savings (and my RRSPs... sorry I tried to sound old).

I plan to start a travelling blog, so that my mother and a certain amount of worrisome friends and family will at least have a grasp as to what I will be doing in a foreign country. At the moment the name of my blog concerns me the most. Perhaps I will attract a community of readers from around the net. Anyway, this is just a good way to distract my fellow school-mates (inmates) from what really matters with my doses of story narrations.
